Dr Lisa McClenaghan

Dr Lisa McClenaghan is an empathetic and dedicated Consultant Cardiologist who provides comprehensive cardiovascular care. She is committed to delivering clear, evidence-based guidance to help patients manage complex heart conditions with confidence and reassurance. Working with a compassionate, patient-centred approach, Dr McClenaghan ensures that each individual receives personalised attention and a tailored treatment plan suited to their specific cardiac needs.

Dr McClenaghan completed her medical degree, earning a Bachelor of Medicine (BM), a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Southampton, qualifying in 2012. She further expanded her medical education by obtaining a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H). Reflecting her rigorous postgraduate training and professional standards, she holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).

Her clinical practice covers a wide spectrum of Cardiology, with sub-speciality focus in adult congenital heart disease and obstetric cardiology. Dr McClenaghan is particularly experienced in managing heart disease during pregnancy, guiding women with pre-existing or congenital heart defects safely through high-risk pregnancies. Her clinical repertoire also incorporates multi-modality cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, alongside the evaluation and treatment of structural heart abnormalities and heart rhythm disturbances.
