Dr Liam Sutton

Dr Liam Sutton is a dedicated Consultant Paediatric ENT Surgeon specialising in the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management of ear, nose, and throat conditions in infants, children, and young people. Committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, he collaborates closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure young patients receive tailored, high-quality care for both routine and complex otolaryngological disorders.

In his clinical practice, Dr Sutton maintains a specialist focus on complex paediatric airway management, head and neck conditions, and tracheal pathology. His areas of expertise encompass diagnostic airway endoscopy, laryngotracheal reconstruction, management of airway malacia, open and thoracoscopic aortopexy, and paediatric tracheostomy care. Alongside his surgical commitments, Dr Sutton is actively involved in clinical research and educational initiatives dedicated to advancing paediatric airway endoscopy techniques and enhancing global standards of tracheostomy safety.

Dr Sutton completed his medical degree (MB BCh BAO) alongside Licentiateships from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (LRCSI) and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (LRCPI). He went on to undertake higher specialist training in otolaryngology, achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (FRCS (ORL-HNS)). Following sub-specialty fellowship training in paediatric otolaryngology in London, Dr Sutton maintains professional affiliations with leading medical organisations, including the British Association of Paediatric Otolaryngology and the British Laryngological Association.
