About Ms Li Jiang
Ms. Li Jiang is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Partner with a robust background in ophthalmic care. She graduated with Honours from the University of Birmingham Medical School before pursuing her Ophthalmology training at the West Midlands School of Ophthalmology. Following her Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth), she completed an advanced sub-specialty fellowship in Cornea and External Eye Disease at the Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary.
Ms. Jiang is currently a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, part of the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. She brings extensive experience in treating a range of eye conditions, including dry eye disorders, corneal dystrophies, and ocular surface inflammation and abnormal growths. She is skilled in both standard and complex cataract and refractive surgeries, specialising in managing high refractive errors, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Ms. Jiang is committed to medical leadership. She has received the Leadership Academy Award from NHS Healthcare Leadership Foundations and has been honoured with the Arthur Thomson Scholarship for Ophthalmology training as well as the Duke Elder Prize. Lovely welcome from the young lady on reception. Surgeon and all staff were fantastic clearly explaining everything and putting me at ease. Also after the procedure the aftercare, eyedrops etc was very clearly explained from how to use them and when to get my eyes checked to get my 2nd eye referral. Because of the excellent team work I was in and out in approximately 1 hour Thankyou
