Dr Laurence Regan

Dr Laurence Regan is a clinical psychologist at Dynamic Change Consultants (DCC), registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). With a diverse range of clinical experience across the lifespan, they have been working in NHS secondary community mental health services since 2016. Laurence specialises in adult mental health, focusing on trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, psychosis, personality and mood disorders, medically unexplained symptoms, and eating and body image issues.

Laurence is passionate about collaborating with clients to create transformational change. They believe that relationships and meaning-making are central to personal growth, aiming to not only reduce troubling symptoms but also support self-discovery, foster fulfilling relationships, and improve quality of life. Drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches, Laurence works flexibly to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Beyond clinical practice, Laurence contributes to the development of other therapists. They are part of the programme staff for the Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy (PIT) training course at the University of Manchester and serve as CPD lead for the UK PIT special interest group. Laurence also provides specialist supervision to individual and group therapists and offers consultation and training to teams and organisations, including corporate and NHS services.
