Dr. Laura Campbell

Dr Laura Campbell is an experienced General Practitioner currently practising at Essex Private Doctors, bringing a broad clinical background and a patient-centred approach to her work. She qualified from the University of Liverpool with an MB ChB in 2006 and went on to spend nearly 20 years working as a doctor within the Defence Medical Services, including a range of overseas postings and operational deployments. This experience has shaped her adaptable, holistic approach to patient care.

Dr Campbell is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and has a strong professional interest in dermatology. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology (PGDipDerm) and has undertaken further specialist training in skin assessment and dermoscopy. Her expertise includes the management of chronic skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne, with a focus on long-term skin health and overall wellbeing.

In addition to medical dermatology, Dr Campbell is trained in cosmetic medicine, including botulinum toxin treatments, and is experienced in minor surgical procedures. She is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr Campbell is a mother of three and enjoys cycling, staying active, and spending time outdoors.
