Dr Khaled Abuelenain

Dr Khaled Abuelenain is a highly dedicated Consultant Physician specialising in General (Internal) Medicine and Acute Medicine. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on providing comprehensive, high-quality care to individuals presenting with a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions. His clinical practice is characterised by a commitment to thorough diagnostic evaluation and the delivery of evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

In addition to his core expertise in general internal medicine, Dr Abuelenain has a strong clinical interest in Focused Acute Medicine Ultrasound (FAMUS), serving as a supervisor and mentor in this specialised diagnostic field. His areas of focus include thoracic, abdominal, renal, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) ultrasound scans, which are vital for rapid and accurate bedside assessments. He is also deeply committed to healthcare quality management, continuously working to enhance clinical standards and patient safety.

Dr Abuelenain completed his primary medical education at Ain Shams University, qualifying in 2006. He subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate training, achieving specialist registration and qualification in Acute and General Internal Medicine in 2023. As an active educator and professional, he is affiliated with the Royal College of Physicians, where he serves as a College Tutor, helping to guide and prepare the next generation of medical professionals for their clinical examinations.
