Karina Spero

Karina Spero is a Senior Musculoskeletal and Paediatric Osteopath at Guy Gold & Associates in Camden, London. She works with patients across all stages of life, from babies and children to teenagers, adults, pregnant women and new mothers. Her background combines osteopathy, psychology and specialist paediatric training, allowing her to take a broad and highly individualised view of each patient’s symptoms and needs. 

Karina’s work covers musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction in adults and children, paediatric osteopathy, pregnancy and postpartum care, cranial osteopathy, headaches and migraines, jaw pain, postural problems, soft-tissue tension, joint restriction and general physical discomfort. She also provides specialist care for babies and children with musculoskeletal concerns, as well as mothers during pregnancy and after childbirth.

Karina uses both traditional osteopathy and cranial osteopathy, adapting her approach to the individual. Depending on the patient, treatment may include gentle structural techniques, firmer manual therapy, joint manipulation, soft-tissue massage, lifestyle advice and tailored exercises. For babies and younger children, treatment is adjusted to be gentle and age-appropriate.

A significant part of Karina’s practice is dedicated to paediatric and pregnancy osteopathy. She trained at the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy and has experience supporting women during pregnancy, after birth and through joint mother-and-baby appointments. These sessions can address physical recovery, postural strain and musculoskeletal concerns affecting either mother or baby.
