Dr Kariem Elhadd

Dr Kariem Elhadd is a highly skilled Consultant Neurologist and Sleep Medicine Specialist committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. He diagnoses and manages a broad spectrum of general neurological conditions, with a focus on understanding complex nervous system disorders. Known for his thorough and reassuring approach, Dr Elhadd works closely with patients to establish clear diagnostic insights and formulate individualised management plans that support long-term health and well-being.

His clinical practice spans general neurology alongside dedicated sub-speciality expertise in neurological sleep disorders. Dr Elhadd has particular clinical interests in central hypersomnolence disorders, narcolepsy, parasomnias, and sleep disturbances associated with underlying neurological conditions. In addition, his clinical work encompasses the management of epilepsy and neuroimmunological disorders. Dr Elhadd graduated with distinction in medicine (MBBS) from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, before completing higher specialist training in neurology. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Sleep Medicine from the University of Oxford and has completed advanced postgraduate studies in clinical neurology at University College London. Furthermore, he completed specialist fellowship training in neuroimmunology and sleep disorders, gaining accreditation as an Expert Somnologist with the European Sleep Research Society and credentialing as a Registered Polysomnography Technologist. Dr Elhadd is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) and maintains active memberships with the Association of British Neurologists, the British Sleep Society, and the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technicians.
