Dr Kareem Omar

Dr Kareem Omar is a Consultant Clinical Radiologist with extensive expertise in neuroradiology and advanced brain imaging. He is the Director of VitalScan and Head of Neuroimaging, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the interpretation of complex brain MRI studies and the diagnosis of neurological disorders. He has also served as the Neuroimaging Lead at Milton Keynes Hospital for over 10 years, where he has played a key role in delivering specialist neuroradiology services.

Dr Omar graduated with an MB BCh from Ain Shams University in 2003 before completing a Master's degree in Radiology in 2006. He subsequently achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2007 and holds the European Diploma in Neuroradiology, reflecting his advanced subspecialty expertise in neurological imaging.

His clinical interests include advanced brain MRI, neuroimaging for dementia assessment, autoimmune brain diseases and the investigation of a wide range of neurological conditions. He is experienced in interpreting complex imaging studies to support accurate diagnosis and guide patient management.
