Mr Kamran Malik

Mr Kamran Malik is an accomplished Consultant General Surgeon and Consultant Colorectal Surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care with a focus on advanced minimally invasive techniques. He specialises in robotic and laparoscopic procedures for a wide range of abdominal and intestinal conditions. Mr Malik is dedicated to delivering patient-centred, reassuring care, ensuring that individuals undergoing general surgical or lower gastrointestinal interventions receive treatment plans tailored to their personal health needs.

In his clinical practice, Mr Malik diagnoses and manages conditions affecting the lower gastrointestinal tract, including bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, and benign coloproctological disorders. He possesses extensive expertise in laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, complex hernia repairs including open and laparoscopic groin and ventral hernia repairs, and abdominal wall reconstruction. As a certified GI Endoscopist, he performs diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies, colonic polyp removals, and colon capsule endoscopies. His proficiency in robotic and laparoscopic operative methods allows patients to benefit from reduced post-operative discomfort and quicker recovery times.

Mr Malik earned his primary medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in 2003. Following initial surgical training, he was awarded Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan in 2009. He subsequently completed higher surgical training in the United Kingdom, alongside specialist fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery and advanced rectal cancer surgery. He holds Member status with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and Fellow status with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Alongside his clinical work, he serves as an Associate Director of Medical Education and acts as a Principal Investigator on clinical research projects investigating artificial intelligence in endoscopy.
