Dr. Juliet Balfour

Dr. Juliet Balfour is an experienced NHS General Practitioner in Glastonbury, Somerset, and has a special interest and extra training in women's health and the menopause. She is Director of Wells Menopause Clinic, a private clinic where you can have an in-depth video or telephone consultation to discuss your symptoms and any past health problems. Dr Balfour offers evidence-based and individualised advice on hormone replacement therapy and other medication to improve your symptoms and benefit your long-term health. She can also advise on vaginal oestrogen, contraception, diet and lifestyle.

Dr Balfour is happy to give ongoing email advice to current patients and offers follow-up appointments after 3 months and then annually.

Almost all HRT prescribed privately via Wells Menopause Clinic can then be prescribed on the NHS by your GP. The only exception is testosterone as many GPs are not able to prescribe this due to lack of expertise or local prescribing guidelines.
