I have already expressed how impressed I am with Ginny .Not only is she a consummate professional but a very empathetic person as well.I like how she explains things in a way I can fully understand .

Couldnt of asked for a lovelier DR to be honest..

After rejection of 2 female NHS GP's at my GP practice to go on HRT, I had to seek out a way where someone would listen to me and I am so glad that I discovered Dr Ginny Ponsford at the Women's Hormone Clinic. From a detailed consultation (by Skype) to prescribing HRT and the kindness and confidence that Dr Ginny gave me, was in stark contrast to how I was treated at my own practice. Going on HRT has literally turned the clock back 15 years for me. I never used to sleep, had terrible hot flushes, day and night and feeling continually anxious and now I sleep like a baby, no hot flushes at all and feel calm and 'normal' again like the old days. It may not work for everyone, but it works for me like a charm. I highly recommend this practice and in particular, Dr Ginny Ponsford.

Dr Ponsford was kind and considerate. She listened to everything I had to say, and explained both the medical options but when she was concerned at one of the blood test results, she recommended a referral back to my doctor and subsequently I needed to be assessed at the local hospital. It took nearly a year to resolve, but as soon as I was given the all clear to resume my HRT treatment, Ginny was willing and able to give me an appointment very quickly and I have the outcome I was looking for. I felt very safe in her hands and am pleased that I contacted the clinic for help. Thank you.

Ginny is an exceptional doctor who is very knowledgeable, she explains everything you need to know and gives options to help you decide what is best for you, she is caring and friendly and makes you feel at ease.

I have described it prior. She seems nice but I felt there was no personal Service. Given the type of treatment offered at your clinic I would have thought this was first and foremost as every woman will have different symptoms and causes. The ‘leave it to you’ attitude of the blood test left me feeling unsupported and also wondering why I was paying such a huge amount of money given the practical side was not even handled by the clinic and the testing was outsourced!
