Dr. Julianne Mullen

Dr Julianne Mullen is a HCPC registered Dramatherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a BADth (British Association of Dramatherapists) registered Clinical Supervisor at the Tinnitus and Hearing Clinic Harley Street. Her professional scope spans across education, healthcare, and private practice.

Employing an integrative approach, Julianne combines psychodynamic therapy models, cognitive behavioural strategies, and creative arts therapies to assist patients dealing with tinnitus. She provides a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment, fostering encouragement and unconditional regard for her clients' thoughts and emotions.

In addition to her clinical practice, Julianne serves as a visiting lecturer at Roehampton University and Han University Nijmegen in The Netherlands. She offers consultation to audiologists and ENT surgeons on effectively managing distressed patients experiencing acute tinnitus perception. She also provides clinical supervision to educators and hospice staff, leveraging her expertise to enhance patient care.

Julianne's commitment to mental health extends beyond clinical settings; she has designed and facilitated mental health awareness training for frontline service staff, including the Metropolitan Police. She occasionally co-facilitates retreats abroad, focusing on promoting wellbeing and combating burnout among professionals.
