She trained at Great Ormond Street Hospital and has worked across national specialist child and adolescent mental health services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr Neale is an excellent psychiatrist. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional as well as being approachable, caring and supportive. From the initial appointment to assessment, diagnosis and a treatment plan, she has been invaluable in helping our son with his mental health condition and balancing that help with his neurodiversity. She was very thorough in dealing with any concerns my son had. Even with his strong opinions and occasional negativity, she took him seriously and listened to his views, and answered any concerns in a calm and professional manner. She was excellent at reassuring him and putting his mind at ease. Dr Neale has a team of professionals that work alongside her and my son had sessions with a therapist as well as a nutritionist. This multidisciplinary approach is a huge bonus, especially as Dr Neale co-ordinates with them all. Dr Neale always responds promptly, which is essential when we had concerns or needed a prescription. When my son turned 18, Dr Neale gave recommendations for an adult psychiatrist and wrote a prompt referral which meant the transition to adult psychiatry went very smoothly. I highly recommend Dr Neale to any parent looking for a psychiatrist for their child.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and comprehensive review. I am truly grateful for your kind words. It is particularly meaningful to hear that the care provided was both reassuring and responsive to your son's individual needs and perspective. Thank you also for your comments about the wider team. Collaborative, multidisciplinary working can be invaluable in supporting young people and their families, and I am pleased that you found this approach beneficial. I am delighted to hear that the transition to adult services was a smooth one. Thank you again for your recommendation and for sharing your experience.
Dr Neale, is kind caring and professional. She always puts us at ease.

Thank you for your kind words. It is good to hear that you felt at ease and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
Dr Neale has provided the most wonderful care of my daughter over the past 2 years. She has always taken the time to listen to us both, to ask questions, and to answer all of our questions, taking pains to ensure that we have always been comfortable with the treatment plan. She has been so reassuring through some challenging periods, and we are hugely grateful to her for her calm, measured, well-informed support.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a kind review. It is greatly appreciated. I am delighted to hear that you and your daughter felt listened to and involved in the decision-making process. Thank you for your kind words regarding the support provided during challenging periods. I am very grateful for your feedback.
After receiving very little help elsewhere, Dr Neale was the one who finally listened and took action. We had spent a long time feeling unheard and unsure where to turn, but she immediately took our concerns seriously and guided us with clarity and compassion. Her willingness to step in, provide answers, and offer genuine support made an enormous difference at a time when we felt completely stuck. She gave us the care and direction we had been desperately missing, and we are truly grateful for everything she did for us.

Very thorough , supportive and listened to us

Thank you for your kind feedback. I’m pleased that you felt listened to and I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Dr Neale is professional and knowledgeable and has a kind and gentle personality which is helpful for a child with anxiety. Whilst my child was not able to converse face to face he was increasingly able to speak and listen to Dr Neale as time passed, this speaks volumes to her patience and understanding of what each child's abilities and needs are.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. I’m pleased that your child felt able to engage more over time, and that the pace and approach felt right. It’s so important to work in a way that feels safe and manageable for each child, and I’m glad this came across. I appreciate your kind words.
Would definitely recommend Dr Neale. She was very personable and professional and communicated well with my son.

As a patient of Dr Neale for over a year I truly believe that she is amazing! I have struggled with my mental health for a few years and her treatment plans and support have been fantastic. I genuinely believe I wouldn’t be here today without her support so thank you very much!

Thank you for sharing this, your words mean a great deal. I’m very glad that the support and treatment over the past year have made a positive difference for you. Thank YOU!
Dr. Neale has been an absolutely essential element to navigating a difficult few years with my neurodivergent twin boys and all the challenges that come with it. Her kind, gentle, understanding manner instantly put my children at ease, letting them open up about feelings and emotions, giving her a better understanding of how to help them - and she really has - with suggestions of how to support our whole family, guiding us through the assessment process and helping to explain each diagnosis, understanding each child and their individual needs, appreciating when life is busy and accommodating our necessary adjustments in meetings....I can't recommend (and thank!) Dr. Neale enough and so appreciate her continued support.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and generous review. I’m so pleased that your boys felt comfortable and able to open up, and that the process has felt supportive for your family as a whole. I’m grateful for the trust you have placed in me.
