Mr Wild is an actively engaged educator being the first diplomate to be appointed a member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he is currently the Training Lead for the Colorectal and Peritoneal Oncology Centre. He is also an active researcher with several articles published focusing on appendiceal and colorectal tumours. He has also been appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer at Edgehill University.

Mr Wild is a top UK - colorectal and general surgeon, one of the best experts we ever had at Christie and a great person. It is always a pleasure to work with him, particularly on most complex perineal and abdominal wall reconstruction cases. He has very skilled hands and good judgement, always having his patients best interests at heart. He is known to go an extra mile for his patients and colleagues and is highly respected. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for excellent outcomes in colorectal surgery for advanced colon cancer but also various other general surgical procedures from hernia repair to laparoscopic gall bladder removal and beyond.
