Mr John Lynch

Mr John Lynch is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of knee and hip conditions. Uniquely, he began his clinical career as a fully qualified and practicing physiotherapist, a foundational background in musculoskeletal medicine and rehabilitation that deeply informs his holistic approach to patient recovery. After deciding to pursue a career in surgery, he earned his medical degree from the University of East Anglia in 2010. His dedicated orthopaedic surgical training began in 2012, during which he gained extensive experience across major specialist centres, including the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham.

Mr Lynch maintains a high-volume clinical practice focused on restoring mobility through both primary joint replacement and soft tissue reconstruction. He has a particular surgical interest in complex knee procedures, such as ACL reconstruction, total knee replacement, and partial (unicondylar) knee replacement, where he combines precise operative technique with tailored post-operative rehabilitation to achieve optimal long-term outcomes for his patients.
