Mr Joe Thomas

Mr Joe Thomas is a Senior Physiotherapist with specialist expertise in musculoskeletal health, injury rehabilitation and athletic performance. His clinical experience spans both NHS and private settings, including roles at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and the Royal United Hospitals Bath. He has also gained valuable exposure to elite sport through time spent with Northampton Saints and Newport Dragons RFC, further strengthening his understanding of high-performance demands.

A First Class graduate of the University of Nottingham, Joe combines strong clinical knowledge with a practical, patient-centred approach. He currently supports the University of Bath Rugby Union team, guiding elite athletes through injury management and performance enhancement alongside his work at The Pure Practice.

Joe recently returned to the UK after a period playing rugby in Vancouver, Canada, and continues to draw on his own sporting background to inform his clinical practice. As a committed CrossFit athlete and outdoor enthusiast, he has firsthand insight into the physical challenges faced by active individuals. He is passionate about helping people move with confidence, recover fully and reach their highest potential.
