About St Giles Physiotherapy

St Giles Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is an independent rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinic located in Northampton, dedicated to delivering expert care through a combination of clinical excellence, advanced technology, and patient-centred treatment plans. Founded through a collaboration between a patient and a therapist, the clinic was born from first-hand experience of chronic pain and the transformative impact of tailored, hands-on rehabilitation. This unique origin continues to shape the clinic’s approach to care, ensuring empathy and innovation are embedded into every treatment journey.

The clinic provides a full range of physiotherapy, sports therapy, and rehabilitation services. Treatment begins with a detailed consultation to identify the root cause of pain or dysfunction, followed by an immediate treatment session where appropriate, and a personalised plan to support long-term recovery. Specialised services include spinal decompression therapy, EMS therapy, shockwave therapy, and K-laser therapy-targeted modalities that enhance tissue repair, circulation, and pain relief. These are further complemented by manual therapies, sports massage, and bespoke exercise programmes carried out in the clinic’s fully equipped on-site gym.

Rehabilitation is a core focus of the clinic’s offering, addressing both the physical and mental dimensions of recovery. Programmes are designed to support muscle activation, posture correction, and strength-building to restore functional movement, prevent re-injury, and improve overall well-being. Patients benefit from measurable improvements in flexibility, joint mobility, sleep, and confidence-whether returning to sport or daily activity.

Located at 73 St Giles Street, St Giles Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic serves the wider Northamptonshire community. It is the only clinic in the region to offer such a comprehensive range of non-invasive physiotherapy treatments under one roof. The team of experienced practitioners brings over two decades of clinical expertise to the practice, ensuring high-quality outcomes for both acute and chronic conditions. With a strong track record of long-term results, particularly for patients experiencing persistent or complex pain, the clinic has earned a reputation for excellence in rehabilitation and customer care.

Having trapped both my sciatic and femoral nerve in y lrft leg I was in terrific pain and looked looked for a practice that could provide decompression l was extremely pleased to find a local physiotherapist with the facility I needed. Having booked an assessment and initial treatment with Ruslan it was agreed that decompression was the correct treatment forward. A course of treatment that followed was highly successful providing both pain relief and muscle building. My praise for Ruslan is held in high esteem as too with other members of staff who took an avid interest as to my recovery. My whole experience of the St Giles practice has been excellent finding a modern gymnasium and treatment rooms all to a very high standard, modern and exceptionally clean, the whole team working together to keep standards high. And yes I Graham Scriven would highly recommend this excellent Physiotherapy Clinic.

I have a l5 S1 disc herniation that was pushing against my nerve and causing me immense pain down to my ankle. I suffered for months and I could barely stand for longer than a 2 mins. Walking was agony. Standing was agony. I tried everything before I came across ST Giles. Melissa and Cladiu talked me through the treatment. They were positive I was going to get better even when I wasn't. Today I have just had another appointment and I can honestly say these guys have given me my life back! My pain levels have reduced and I can now walk and stand much better than I could before I saw these guys. Thanks so much to the entire team. Would highly recommend if you have sciatica or disc buldges.
