Dr Jenifer Sassarini

Dr Jenifer Sassarini is an accomplished Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive care tailored to women at all stages of life. Dedicated to delivering patient-centred medical support, she offers expert diagnosis and management for a broad spectrum of reproductive health concerns. Dr Sassarini strives to create a comfortable and reassuring clinical environment where patients feel fully supported and empowered to make informed decisions regarding their healthcare.

Dr Sassarini specialises in general gynaecology, early pregnancy care, and dedicated services for postmenopausal bleeding, including pelvic ultrasound and outpatient hysteroscopy. She has a deep clinical interest in midlife women's health, particularly the management of menopause, premature ovarian insufficiency, and complex menopausal symptoms in cancer survivors. As a recognised Menopause Specialist, she offers evidence-based guidance on hormone replacement therapy (HRT), as well as effective non-hormonal treatment alternatives, helping patients manage symptoms and maintain their quality of life.

Dr Sassarini earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) from the University of Glasgow in 2003. She later completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2012, focusing her research on the underlying mechanisms of postmenopausal hot flushes. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and holds official accreditation from the British Menopause Society. Dr Sassarini also holds a position as an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, actively contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education as well as clinical research in women's health.
