Dr. Jeng Ching

Dr Jeng Ching is a consultant in clinical oncology based at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. He also has private practices at Spire Southampton Hospital and GenesisCare Southampton. Dr Ching specialises in bone cancer and brain and spine cancer; he has clinical interests in TYA and adult neuro-oncology, primary and secondary brain tumours, supratentorial meningiomas, and sarcoma. He offers treatments such as radiotherapy and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR).

Dr Ching gained his medical degree from St George's University of London in 2008 before completing general medical training in London and South Yorkshire. He then went on to complete a clinical fellowship in sarcoma at the Royal Marsden Hospital. In 2012, Dr Ching became a member of the Royal College of Physicians, and he became a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2016. He has also obtained a CCT in clinical oncology from Wessex Deanery.

Dr Ching is active in research and is interested in technical developments in radiotherapy, IMRT (VMAT), intracranial stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and systemic treatments in neuro-oncology.
