Jen O'Donnell

Ms Jen O’Donnell is a Lead Clinical Nurse with over 20 years of nursing experience, predominantly in emergency and acute care. Her experience in A&E includes recognising and managing clinical emergencies, making decisions under pressure and maintaining patient safety. She has also worked as a Matron, developing strong skills in clinical governance, risk management, leadership and quality improvement.

Education is an important part of Ms O’Donnell’s nursing practice. She is a Resuscitation Council UK instructor and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science Education, with a particular interest in supporting patients and colleagues to feel confident and informed about their care.

Ms O’Donnell is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Certificate in Allergy, continuing to develop her specialist knowledge and skills in this field.

She takes a personalised, holistic approach to care and believes that patients should have the time and space to be listened to, understood and involved in decisions about their care. Her approach combines her developing specialist allergy knowledge with her experience in emergency care, safety, education and leadership to provide compassionate, individualised care.
