Mr Vinay Kalsi

Mr Vinay Kalsi is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital, where he was appointed in 2015 and also serves as Clinical Lead for Paediatric Urology and Surgery.

He trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School, qualifying in 1998, and completed his general surgical and urology training across London, Surrey, and Sussex, including major centres such as Guy’s and St George’s hospitals. He then undertook advanced subspecialist paediatric urology training at leading children’s hospitals including Great Ormond Street Hospital, University College London Hospitals, and Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

Mr Kalsi has a strong specialist focus in paediatric urology, managing conditions such as undescended testes, foreskin disorders, hydroceles, hernias, vesicoureteral reflux, urinary tract infections, enuresis, haematuria, hydronephrosis, and hypospadias. He has also developed expertise in functional urology following his experience at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where he worked with complex neurological and urological conditions and contributed to research supporting the use of botulinum toxin in neurogenic bladder management.

In addition, he is highly experienced in urodynamics, incontinence surgery, and pelvic floor multidisciplinary care, and is actively involved in regional MDTs. He has played a key role in developing paediatric urology services at Frimley Park Hospital and continues to focus on improving outcomes for both adult and paediatric patients through specialist surgical and functional urology care.
