Dr Jamie Catlow

Dr Jamie Catlow is a highly dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of digestive and gastrointestinal disorders. With a strong clinical focus on general gastroenterology and endoscopy, he is committed to delivering personalised, high-quality care. His clinical interests encompass the management of inflammatory bowel disease, problems of the oesophagus, and colorectal polyps. Additionally, he has a specialised interest in advanced endoscopy therapeutics, intestinal failure, and home parenteral nutrition, ensuring that patients with complex nutritional and digestive needs receive tailored support.

Dr Catlow completed his medical training at the University of Glasgow, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2010. He subsequently obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) in 2013. Committed to medical education and clinical excellence, he also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education in 2018 and was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Newcastle University in 2021 for his research into colonoscopy quality improvement.
