He was so kind and patient with all my questions and I felt very supported before, during and after the surgery. He was very approachable and didn’t make me feel as though any of my worries were unimportant. My surgery and recovery was excellent and would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Duncan to my family and friends.

Mr Duncan was very careful to explain everything to me and my daughter. Including the use of the laser cutting device.

NHS treatment and the experience, given that an operation was needed , was fantastic. The whole 'journey' exceeded expectation -- the consultant, the hospital staff, the follow-ups all very professional, informative and done with caring. I'd like to make some constructive criticisms but there is nothing to criticise. NHS amazing. Thank You.

I had my appointment 7 weeks after my hip replacement. Mr Duncan had a very positive manner and made me feel much more comfortable about my pathway back to recovery. My wound was checked and info given as to what I could reasonably move onto. I left feeling content and positive about what I should be doing. Thanks to everyone,particularly Mr Duncan, for relieving from my pain.

I had a hip replacement, I was very surprised how quickly I recovered so nice not been in any pain. All the staff were very friendly, the room I stayed in was lovely. The procedure was explained. After the op the exercises given are very important to do, to attend the physio classes. A huge thank you, I was very surprised and relieved how well it all went as nervous of how I would recover and if it would work, it certainly does

Mr Duncan listened attentively, explained everything clearly and was very encouraging. He was very reassuring and enabled me to make an informed decision.

My experience both before and after my surgery could not have been better and I would particularly like to thank Mr Duncan for his friendly and professional support throughout the process.

I was suffering in pain for over 4 years and couldn't tie my shoes lase, I had back pain hip pain ect , I was recommended for surgery, mr James Duncan operated on me ,hip surgery, im now ,100% fit and back at work pain free, and can bend and tie my own shoes laces. Thanks to the team at the hospital. It was a really good experience and im truly grateful, the best I can recall staying awake and singing aloud , ooo what a wonderful world from Mr Duncan play list .your sincerely R.R.
