Dr. Ivan Anderson

Dr Ivan Anderson is a General Practitioner based in Surrey, where he trained and continues to practise after graduating from Cardiff University School of Medicine in 2015. Prior to studying medicine, he completed an honours degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bristol and gained additional international clinical experience working as a doctor in New Zealand.

Dr Anderson is a certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician through the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM) and adopts a holistic, preventative approach to healthcare, with a strong focus on health creation. His Lifestyle Medicine training emphasises the evidence-based integration of physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and behaviour change into overall wellbeing. As a qualified coach with additional training in behavioural change, he works collaboratively with patients to help them achieve sustainable, personalised health goals.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr Anderson enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. He enjoys running and has a particular love for walking in the Scottish Highlands. He is passionate about photography and is an active member of his local camera club. Dr Anderson also enjoys spending time outdoors with his young family and is a trained Health and Nature Facilitator, reflecting his belief in the positive connection between nature and wellbeing.
