Dr Imran Haruna Abdulkareem

Dr Imran Haruna Abdulkareem is a highly accomplished Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients experiencing musculoskeletal conditions. He specialises in a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, with a particular focus on joint reconstruction and trauma management. His clinical practice is centred on delivering patient-focused, evidence-based treatments that help individuals regain their mobility, alleviate chronic pain, and return to their active daily lives.

With extensive expertise in both hip and knee surgeries, Dr Abdulkareem performs complex procedures such as primary and revision total hip replacements, total knee replacements, and partial knee replacements. He is also highly skilled in managing complex trauma cases, including the repair of massive acetabular bone defects using advanced intra-operative autograft bone harvesting techniques. Additionally, his clinical interests extend to foot and ankle pathology, where he treats challenging conditions such as talar body and neck fractures, and lateral talus stress fracture non-unions through open reduction, bone grafting, and internal fixation.

Dr Abdulkareem completed his medical education at Ahmadu Bello University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2000.
