Miss Ilaria Testi

Miss Ilaria Testi is a highly dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in adult and paediatric uveitis as well as complex inflammatory eye diseases. With extensive expertise in managing both infectious and non-infectious ocular conditions, she provides tailored, evidence-based care to help patients protect and preserve their vision. Miss Testi is known for her reassuring approach, working closely with individuals to navigate challenging diagnostic pathways and long-term treatment strategies.

Her clinical practice covers a broad spectrum of inflammatory eye disorders affecting the anterior, intermediate, posterior, and panuveitic structures. Miss Testi possesses specific clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing conditions such as retinal vasculitis, retinitis, choroiditis, scleritis, episcleritis, and Behçet's disease, alongside Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis associated uveitis. Utilising advanced diagnostic techniques, including ocular multimodal imaging such as optical coherence tomography and angiography, she designs comprehensive treatment plans incorporating anti-inflammatory local therapies, immunosuppressive agents, and biological treatments.

Miss Testi completed her medical degree and residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Padova, qualifying in 2018. Following her core training, she pursued multiple prestigious international sub-specialty fellowships focused on uveitis, ocular inflammation, and paediatric uveitis across prominent specialist centres globally. She is also pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Miss Testi maintains active professional memberships with key medical organisations, including the General Medical Council, the International Ocular Inflammation Society, the Paediatric Ocular Inflammation Group, and the Società Italiana Uveiti e Malattie Infiammatorie Oculari.
