Dr Hiten Mehta

Dr Hiten Mehta is a Consultant Radiologist with expertise in diagnostic neuroimaging and interventional neuroradiology. As a Specialist in brain and spinal disorders, he serves as a Clinical Lead for stroke and spinal interventional neuroradiology. Dr Mehta provides compassionate, patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals undergoing complex neurological scans and procedures receive clear guidance and precise diagnostic evaluations.

Dr Mehta completed his undergraduate medical studies in London, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Honours alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with Honours. He subsequently undertook physician training and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). Following this, he completed specialist clinical training in Radiology across district, teaching, and tertiary medical centres, capped by an advanced fellowship in Neuroradiology. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and maintains active standing with leading professional medical bodies.

With a focus on minimally invasive techniques, Dr Mehta specialises in spinal procedures such as vertebroplasty for spinal conditions, as well as image-guided percutaneous needle biopsies and aspirations. His clinical practice spans comprehensive brain, spine, and paediatric neuroimaging. Alongside his clinical duties, Dr Mehta is an active medical educator, teaching medical students and postgraduates while presenting clinical research at international neuroradiology conferences.
