Dr. Hemant Bolusani

Dr Hemant Bolusani is a consultant in diabetes and endocrinology at Spire Cardiff Hospital. He currently manages patients admitted to a high turnover short stay medical ward at the University of Hospital of Wales where he also contributes to the tertiary diabetes and endocrine services. He is also a clinical director in integrated medicine and provides the service with strategic leadership. Dr Bolusani's clinical interests are endocrinology, diabetes, and thyroid disease. He offers treatments such as cholesterol level test, diabetes test, thryoid test, and excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) treatment.

Dr Bolusani gained his MBBS in 1993 from the University of Health Sciences in India. He completed specialist training in Wales before gaining a research degree where he investigated the metabolic and cardiovascular effects of CLA in prediabetic patients. During the course of his career, Dr Bolusani has had his work published in a number of medical journals and has contributed to a number of research articles.

Dr Bolusani is currently a member of the specialty training committee and supervises and trains medical students as well as higher specialist trainees.
