Dr Haleema Sheikh is a GP who graduated from the University of London in 1998 with an MB BS and an intercalated BSc in Clinical Neuroscience. She holds an MRCP and a Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. With over 20 years of experience as an NHS GP and more than a decade in private practice, she brings a wealth of expertise to her work in holistic, patient-centred care.
Her clinical interests span lifestyle and functional medicine, having certified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has a particular passion for women’s health, supporting patients through conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, PMS, perimenopause and menopause, combining conventional medical approaches with a functional and integrative perspective.
Dr Sheikh is deeply interested in the mind–body connection and takes a personalised approach to uncover the root causes of her patients’ symptoms, empowering them to restore balance and optimise wellbeing.
Outside of her practice, she values movement and mindfulness in her own life, enjoying walks and runs through Richmond Park, daily meditation, yoga, and climbing all of which reflect her commitment to living the healthy, balanced lifestyle she advocates for her patients.
