Mr Govind Chetty

Mr Govind Chetty is an experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care for patients with cardiac and thoracic conditions. With a clinical focus on advanced surgical techniques, he delivers individualised treatments designed to optimise heart and chest health. Mr Chetty completed his higher specialist cardiothoracic surgery training through rotations in Leicester, Nottingham, and Sheffield. Following his specialty training, he undertook an advanced fellowship in major aortic surgery and heart valve repairs. He further refined his surgical skills by completing an advanced course in thoracic surgery under the auspices of Harvard University in the United States. Board-certified through the Intercollegiate Specialty Board of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons, Mr Chetty holds professional memberships with the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain & Ireland as well as the Harvard Postgraduate Medical Association.

In clinical practice, Mr Chetty focuses on complex interventions within adult cardiac and thoracic surgery. His clinical interests include major aortic operations, heart valve repair and reconstruction, mitral valve procedures, and surgical care for atrial fibrillation.
