I was apprehensive about my appointment, after years of medical gaslighting I didn’t know what to expect. Honestly, my consultation with Professor Andrea Bille could not of gone any better. I cannot fault him at all. He listened and gave me more hope than I have been given since being diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2019. He was so kind, so very informative patient and so understanding.

I went to Professor Bille for a second opinion. He immediately got me in for the relevant tests and scans. He was extremely kind and understanding. It was obvious that he was not the kind of Doctors who is just in their job for the money and he really cares about getting help for his patients.

Amazing surgeon. So caring and Prof Bille always had time for my questions. All necessary scans and biopsies carried out prior to my Lobectomy with all the results clearly explained. Now 4 weeks post op, feeling much better and my health is on the mend. Highly recommended.

Dr Andrea Bille did an excellent job treating my husband. The care provided was professional, reassuring, and highly effective. My husband was suffering from a collapsed lung with a persistent air leak (bubbling air leak) and severe symptoms including chest pain, breathlessness, and significant discomfort. On arrival, he was connected to a chest drain tube. He was in a critical condition, and we are extremely grateful that he was seen quickly, with surgery arranged within the same week. The entire process was smooth, including the transfer from Worthing Hospital to London Bridge Hospital. My husband is now recovering well and much faster than expected. The service throughout was exceptional, and we truly believe Dr Bille played a key role in saving my husband’s life. We would highly recommend Dr Bille.

Dr Bille is very knowlegeable, attentive and dedicated. He arranged thorough imaging checks to identify the issue, discussed treatment options, and was excellent at following up with the progression after treatment.

I rate all my experiences with Mr Bille as excellent. He is very willing to explain his thoughts on my current condition and his reasons for any decision he makes. He is patient and clear when answering questions. I feel completed confidence that I am in safe hands. Very grateful indeed.

I feel lucky to have been under Mr Bille's care in recent months. On the basis of my experience I consider him to be an extremely knowledgeable and skilled surgeon and a very clear communicator who shows a lot of care in the way that he interacts with patients. In our initial consultation Mr Bille put me at ease and listened carefully to my description of my symptoms and concerns. He provided a very helpful explanation of the procedures that would form part of my surgery and associated risks and benefits so that I left feeling well informed. The surgery itself went to plan and in the check-ins we had over the following few days while I was in hospital he was kind and reassuring. In our subsequent follow up meeting he took the time to talk me through the histology report, giving me plenty of time to ask questions. Without a doubt the surgery has supported a significant improvement in my symptoms, for which I am extremely grateful.

I had a lobectomy at the age of 31, which felt incredibly young—especially as someone who has never smoked. From the very beginning, Mr. Bille provided superb care. He was reassuring, kind, and took the time to explain the treatment fully. He was more than happy to meet with my family and partner to ensure they understood everything as well, which meant so much to us. Before surgery, his professionalism and calm approach gave me confidence during an overwhelming time. After the operation, his care continued to be exceptional. He visited me in the hospital, constantly reassuring me and making sure I felt supported. When I left the hospital and saw him again for follow-up, he explained every detail of my healing process. Before I could even ask my long list of questions, he had already answered them all—kindly and thoroughly. I cannot recommend Mr. Bille enough. For me, he was truly a life saver.
