I feel lucky to have been under Mr Bille's care in recent months. On the basis of my experience I consider him to be an extremely knowledgeable and skilled surgeon and a very clear communicator who shows a lot of care in the way that he interacts with patients. In our initial consultation Mr Bille put me at ease and listened carefully to my description of my symptoms and concerns. He provided a very helpful explanation of the procedures that would form part of my surgery and associated risks and benefits so that I left feeling well informed. The surgery itself went to plan and in the check-ins we had over the following few days while I was in hospital he was kind and reassuring. In our subsequent follow up meeting he took the time to talk me through the histology report, giving me plenty of time to ask questions. Without a doubt the surgery has supported a significant improvement in my symptoms, for which I am extremely grateful.

I had a lobectomy at the age of 31, which felt incredibly young—especially as someone who has never smoked. From the very beginning, Mr. Bille provided superb care. He was reassuring, kind, and took the time to explain the treatment fully. He was more than happy to meet with my family and partner to ensure they understood everything as well, which meant so much to us. Before surgery, his professionalism and calm approach gave me confidence during an overwhelming time. After the operation, his care continued to be exceptional. He visited me in the hospital, constantly reassuring me and making sure I felt supported. When I left the hospital and saw him again for follow-up, he explained every detail of my healing process. Before I could even ask my long list of questions, he had already answered them all—kindly and thoroughly. I cannot recommend Mr. Bille enough. For me, he was truly a life saver.

Mr Billie is a genuine person who shows an amazing passion for his work and his patients wellbeing, from the moment I was introduced to Mr Billie I felt at ease. He takes time to listen to his patients and he fully explains all procedures in layman's terms which helps keep you at ease. Mr Billie visited me most days post operation, sometimes twice a day. His passion for his work shines through and is reassuring for any patient, this passion is clearly infectious to those that work with or alongside him and he is a true professional in all aspects. Dr Bille is the best, an excellent surgeon, highly skilled technically and also a very good communicator (fantastic bed side manner - easy going and not pompous ) which is rare in a doctor. He clearly explains everything including surgical treatment options, pain levels, scarring, (my scars are minimal - neat and discreet). I had an enlarged thymus and was in panic mode when I met him but he is very calm and controlled as he knows his stuff which I found calming. I really can’t fault him, he is a superb doctor and a lovely man, empathic and just very very good at his job, I can’t rate him highly enough.

Mr Bille is a very caring and compassionate consultant who explains things very well indeed. He is not pompous at all and is very friendly, kind and down to earth. My treatment under him went very well indeed.
