My experience with Georgios Oikonomou was exceptional. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Mr Oikonomou and have no hesitation in recommending him to others. He was thorough during my initial consultation, so much so, that an incidental tumour was found, a parotid gland tumour, which would not have otherwise been discovered had Mr Oikonomou not taken the care and time he did during my initial consultation. Mr Oikonomou was detailed in his explanation of what was found, explained very clearly what was required and the surgery involved. Alongside Mr Oikonomou’s obvious expertise and professionalism, he is blessed with a calm, friendly and very reassuring manner. I was referred to Mr. Oikonomou due to an infected sebaceous cyst on my neck that presented with severe swelling, significant discomfort, and general malaise. From the initial consultation, Mr. Oikonomou was consistently approachable and personable, while maintaining the utmost professionalism throughout our interactions. The discomfort associated with an inflamed neck lesion was substantial, but Mr. Oikonomou provided considerable assurance regarding the clinical management of the condition. He advised on the necessity of a surgical excision. Given the proximity of the accessory nerve, there was an inherent, small risk of neurological impairment to shoulder movement, in addition to cosmetic concerns regarding scarring. I am delighted to share that Mr. Oikonomou executed the surgery exceptionally well, employing a meticulous and well-considered strategy to mitigate both the neurological and cosmetic risks. I am extremely pleased with the final outcome and have the highest confidence in his surgical expertise for this sensitive area. Furthermore, his medical PA, Isabella, proved to be highly supportive and exceptionally efficient in coordinating all necessary appointments and scheduling the surgery without delay.
