About Dr Georgios Antoniou
Mr Georgios Antoniou is a consultant medical oncologist based in Berkshire and Middlesex, UK. He specialises in urology and has over 16 years of medical experience and over 9 years of specialist experience in medical oncology.
Dr Antoniou completed his Medical Degree at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2005. He then went on to complete a Master's in Clinical, Laboratory Science, Research and Allied Professionals at Harvard Medical School and a Master's in Cancer Therapeutics at the University of London. He also completed a PhD at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.
After receiving his medical degree, Dr Antoniou completed several years of training in medical oncology and became both a Clinical and Research Fellow in NHS Trusts and oncology centres in the United States and Cyprus.
He currently practices as a Consultant in medical oncology at GenesisCare Windsor, Berkshire. Here, he treats patients with cancer, particularly urological cancers however he has a wealth of experience in other cancers such as breast cancer and gynaecological cancers.
Dr Antoniou has special interests in systemic treatments, targeted therapies, immunotherapy and personalised medicine. He is also a member of The Institute of Cancer Research.
