About Gabrielle Morse

About me

I’m Gabrielle Morse, a specialist neurogastroenterology & IBD dietitian at The Gut Health Clinic, supporting adults with digestive symptoms and gut-related health concerns. Neurogastroenterology focuses on how the gut and brain communicate, which can drive symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, reflux and changes in bowel habits. Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis, refers to lifelong inflammatory conditions characterised by immune-mediated damage to the gastrointestinal tract, leading to symptoms such as diarrhoea, pain, fatigue, nutritional compromise, and periods of flare and remission. I bring over seven years of experience helping people better understand and manage these complex conditions.

How I can help you

I support people dealing with persistent digestive symptoms, fluctuating conditions, or gut issues that haven’t improved with standard or overly restrictive approaches.

My areas of expertise include:

  • Disorders of Gut-Brain interaction including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), functional dyspepsia
  • Management of gut symptoms include bloating, abdominal pain and altered bowel habits such as constipation and diarrhoea
  • Coeliac disease
  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
  • Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)

I also support individuals with:

  • Post-surgical digestive changes, including changes in bowel habit and adapting diets after bowel resections and ostomies (ileostomies & colostomies)
  • Women’s health, including endo and adenomyosis, PCOS, menstrual health and fertility support, and menopause.
  • Cardiovascular and metabolic health (high cholesterol, Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure)
  • Weight management and long-term health optimisation

My approach

My approach is compassionate, practical and always holistically considered to your personal circumstances.

Many digestive symptoms are driven or worsened by disordered gut–brain interactions, which is why generic advice often falls short and misses the personalised approach to your body.

I take the time to understand your symptoms in the context of your lifestyle, stress, medical history and patterns over time. From there, we build a tailored plan that supports symptom relief while helping you move towards a more flexible, confident relationship with food.

My experience

I have worked within a world-leading hospital in London and continue to stay at the forefront of clinical practice through my work at The Gut Health Clinic. I work part-time in the NHS (neurogastroenterology and IBD) to maintain a breadth of clinical experience across NHS and private healthcare.

Alongside my clinical work, I am a guest lecturer at King’s College London, an educator for the British Dietetic Association, and regularly deliver training to healthcare professionals, including GPs, nurses and dietitians. I am also an accredited BDA Workplace Ready dietitian and deliver workplace wellbeing programmes.

I have been featured in national media, including The Sunday Telegraph, where I provide practical guidance on balancing health with real life.

The Gut Health Clinic

I work at The Gut Health Clinic, a specialist service led by gut health scientist Dr Megan Rossi (@theguthealthdoctor). The clinic brings together a team of expert gastro dietitians with 80 years of combined clinical experience and has supported more than 5,000 clients since 2018.

We work closely with GPs, gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure your care is fully integrated and aligned with your wider medical needs.

What to expect in your first session

Your first appointment is a structured consultation where we take the time to understand your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and goals in detail.

Following this, you’ll receive a personalised plan with clear, practical steps to move forward. I’ll also guide you on how many sessions are likely to be needed so you have clarity from the outset.

If you have private health insurance (including Aviva, Bupa, Cigna, Healix, Vitality or WPA), your appointments may be covered. Get in touch and we can guide you through this.

Gabby was great. She explained the process well and gave me lots of information about what was going on and how we can manage that. I felt she had a sympathetic ear and understood symptoms and the anxiety that came with it. I left with a plan to get started.

Gaby has been an amazing source of support for coping with and recovering from stress-related IBS. She is so passionate and shows genuine care for her clients. She seeks to understand all aspects of the bigger picture so that she can support you in a holistic and well-rounded way. Gaby helped me implement so many positive changes which my family also now enjoy incorporating into their diets, and she always had so many wonderful resources and recommendations to share. She became one of my biggest cheerleaders - always offering validation, empathy and compassion, which helped me to let go of feelings of shame that can come with IBS and gut health issues. My symptoms have improved hugely since I started working with Gaby, it’s no understatement to say that she changed my life. I always looked forward to our check-ins and will genuinely miss our appointments! Thank you for everything, Gaby.
