Dr. Felicity Allen

Miss Felicity Allen is a highly skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist based at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Addenbrooke's Hospital). As a recently appointed consultant, she has rapidly established a strong clinical focus in specialised eye care, bringing extensive exposure to oculoplastic and adnexal surgery, including endoscopic lacrimal surgery and orbital surgery.

In her NHS practice, Miss Allen is deeply involved in surgical education and the development of future specialists in her field. She works closely alongside senior colleagues to supervise clinical fellows, reflecting her ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and providing rigorous, hands-on surgical training. Beyond her day-to-day clinical and educational duties, she is actively engaged with national professional networks to advance reconstructive and ophthalmic plastic surgery. Demonstrating her dedication to evaluating research proposals and supporting innovation in her specialty, she serves as the New Consultant Representative on the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society (BOPSS) Research and Awards Advisory Committee (BRAAC).
