Ms Emma Crichton

Ms Emma Crichton is an HCPC-registered podiatry specialist (CH33295) with extensive expertise across complex lower limb conditions, diabetic foot health, and minor podiatric procedures. She earned her Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc Hons) in Podiatry and subsequently completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Diabetes. She also holds a formal non-medical independent prescribing qualification (POM-S), enabling her to manage complex cases with targeted pharmacological therapies alongside clinical interventions.

Her clinical practice encompasses comprehensive diabetic foot assessments, peripheral vascular and circulatory evaluations, diagnostic image referrals, and non-medical prescribing services. Operating out of clinical and dedicated theatre environments at Plus Podiatry Glasgow and Glasgow Private Clinic, she possesses extensive surgical capabilities in minor podiatric procedures, such as nail surgery and verruca needling performed under local anaesthesia.

With over a decade of clinical experience, she combines preventative foot care strategies with targeted therapeutic treatments for both acute and chronic podiatric disorders. Her specialist clinical focus includes the treatment of ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, stubborn warts and verrucae, as well as lower limb circulatory complications and diabetic foot disease.
