Dr Elise Weir is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Respiratory Specialist committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to infants, children, and young people. Specialising in Paediatrics with a dedicated focus on respiratory medicine, Dr Weir provides comprehensive evaluations, precise diagnoses, and individualised treatment strategies for a wide range of childhood health conditions. She prioritises a patient-centred approach, taking the time to ensure that both young patients and their families feel reassured, informed, and actively involved in every stage of their care.

Her clinical practice covers a broad spectrum of paediatric respiratory health, with particular expertise in childhood asthma, severe eosinophilic asthma, and cystic fibrosis. Serving as a clinical Lead for Asthma, Dr Weir is deeply involved in modernising paediatric care through innovative projects, including remote digital monitoring and targeted self-management strategies designed to improve outcomes and prevent hospital admissions. She also utilises advanced diagnostic techniques, such as cardiopulmonary exercise testing, to assess lung function and physical performance in children with complex, long-term respiratory conditions.
