Dr Elaine Hui

Dr Elaine Hui is a dedicated Consultant Endocrinologist and Consultant Physician specialising in the management of hormone disorders, diabetes, and general internal medical conditions. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering personalised care that empowers individuals to manage their long-term health effectively. Dr Hui is deeply committed to combining scientific advancement with clinical empathy to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions. Dr Hui possesses particular expertise in type 1 diabetes, complex type 2 diabetes, and the integration of modern diabetes technology, such as continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy. Her clinical interests also extend to the assessment and treatment of thyroid disorders, radioiodine therapy, antenatal diabetes, and transition care for young people navigating diabetes management into adulthood. Furthermore, she regularly conducts dynamic endocrine testing and manages metabolic syndrome, alongside supporting innovative care pathways such as virtual ward services for diabetes patients.

Dr Hui completed her comprehensive medical training in London.
