Dr Elaine Borg

Dr Elaine Borg qualified as a doctor in Malta, where she also started her training in cellular pathology. Elaine has been working as a Consultant Cellular Pathologist at University College London Hospital, London since 2014. She is an experience pathologist with special interest in diagnostic cytopathology, pulmonary (lung) and breast histopathology. She currently the Lead of the diagnostic cytopathology service at UCLH.  Elaine has been invited to give talks and workshops at national and international courses and conferences.  She is also an Honorary Associate Professor at UCL and actively participates in research and trials.

Dr Borg is also experienced in ROSE FNA (rapid on-site evaluation fine need aspiration) procedures including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS and EBUS) guided Fine Needle Aspiration as well as one stop head and neck and breast clinics.
