Professor Skiadaresi is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon serving the Hywel Dda University Health Board, with responsibilities at Prince Philip Hospital, Glangwili Hospital, and Amman Valley Hospital. She also holds the position of Honorary Professor at Swansea Medical School. Professor Skiadaresi specialises in cataract surgery and performs procedures at Werndale Hospital and HMT Sancta Maria Hospital.

She completed her medical and surgical training at the University of Trieste in Italy, where she graduated with honours. She then completed a residency in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery with honours.
