The Swansea hospital, opened in July 2022, is located on the ground floor of Atlantic Close in Swansea Enterprise Park.
Freedom Vision have the expertise of some of the UK's most reputable and experienced consultant ophthalmologists. The team at each location is passionate about providing 5-star care and treatment to their patients. The team are patient-centred and care deeply about their patients eye health & vision and lifestyle in order to choose the right eye treatment that suits the patients' lives and futures.
Following cataract surgery, patients have many options for their replacement lenses (intraocular lenses) and have the help of their consultant in making the best decision. Lens options include standard lens implants, multifocal lenses and toric lenses.
Each Freedom Vision clinic is home to the most state-of-the-art equipment. Each patient is treated as an individual, ensuring that they receive the visual outcome they want, delivered with precise care and attention. YAG laser capsulotomy is also available to patients who develop posterior capsule opacification, a common occurrence following cataract surgery.

I was always greeted and made to feel welcome immediately upon arrival. At each stage of the appointment I was treated with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Erin kept a close eye on proceedings and made sure that I was comfortable and happy throughout the time I was there. On operation day, the surgeon made sure to come and see me in the office before I went into theatre and personally adjusted medication to suit my needs. The op itself was quick and painless. Follow up appointments were very thorough and I was not discharged until we agreed between us that I was happy to be discharged. I have ben given the option to get back in touch if I feel I need to.
