My 1st appointment with Mr Gardner went well, he listened to me and agreed I needed a new hip which he was happy to do, he explained everything to me.
Cannot thank Mr Gardner enough for a brilliant operation. Within two weeks the wound had healed. Have only used paracetamol to relieve any pain in the first 3 weeks BRILLIANT.
Mr Edward Gardner from the first time I met him was professional , respectful and courteous . He’s manner put me at ease and I knew that if there was any consultant I would trust to carry out my hip replacement surgery it would be him. My surgery wasn’t as straightforward as most due to other medical complications but I had no worries that it wasn’t going to be successful. From the initial booking in on the morning of my operation to going home I was well looked after. Mr Gardner did come and see me the following day after surgery and went through the details with me, even showing me images of the new hip . He also went through the do’s and don’ts of what I could or could not do for the first three months. My last meeting with Mr Gardner was at approximately six weeks post op, and I can honestly say he was just as courteous as when I initially met him he reiterated how important it was to not rush my recovery and he did tell me off for being too eager . I would definitely not think twice about having Mr Gardner for future surgery if required.
