Dr Ruth Whitby impressed me with her enthusiasm when I first got introduced to her. She has always been thorough in examining me, takes time to explain my health status and test results and what recommendations see's making to make me well. My wife and I are very comfortable with her and are free in discussing our health issues with her without feeling any form of ill treatment. She obviously has good experience in dealing with multi cultural and multi racial persons.

Always a warm reception, which takes away any discomfort seeing a Doctor might bring. Explores all areas of inquiry and takes her time to explain. She is accessible and responds promptly on any matter.

I was referred to Dr. Whitby, initially, through a recommendation from one of her colleagues, who named two GPs at the time. It was very clear to me after looking at her website that she was the right fit for me. While I could refer to her fascinating credentials, what I found when I met her was a doctor who made every effort and more to connect with the person Shea seeing in the moment. I say this because she took the time to carefully read my med records prior to our first meeting. it was clear within a few seconds in that first meeting that she understood and was empathetic to my particular needs. Dr. Whitby also wa very clear that if I needed help with anything I should just contact her. Since then, Dr. Whitby has responded immediately to questions I’ve sent to her and her office through email. I should mention, as well, that Dr. Whitby seems to know, very intuitively, which consultant I ought to see if the need arose: I had a minor procedure that one of her colleagues took care of. And I had another meeting with a another consultant whom she recommended for a different issue. Both of her recommendations were spot-on and I can’t imagine a better treatment plan or outcome with either of them. So, the advice that Dr. Whitby was a GP who could oversee and supervise the my medical issues and the entirety of meds I take, as prescribed by other consultants has and was been spot-on. I could easily say much more about Dr. Whitby and list more examples of the exemplary care and concern she offers. Maybe the best summation is from moment one I knew, with no doubts or questions, that Dr. Whitby was easily in that small, elite circle of medical providers who set standards for all others. I hope the esteem I have for Dr. Whitby is coming through - her assessments and recommendations for me have been always been outstanding and nothing less than that. And did I say that she responds just about instantly via email to questions I have or recommendations to other outstanding practioners.

Ruth is a remarkable GP. Broadly trained but with an astute eye for holistic medical care, Ruth is also really good at managing the psychological penumbra. Patients I have referred are very happy with the care they have received from her.
