Dr Stefanos Thomaidis

Dr Stefano Thomaidis has been practising dentistry for 20 years, working in numerous dental positions and departments. After graduating from dental school with Honours, Dr Thomaidis served two years in a military dental hospital, followed by an appointment as Associate and Lead Clinician at a dental corporate in Athens, leading a multidisciplinary team of specialists for nine years. Before joining Diamond Smiles in 2009, Dr Thomaidis worked at Oasis Dental Care in Seattle for six years, four of which in the position of Lead Clinician.

Dr Thomaidis also undertook a structured university program in Implantology over standalone year courses, completing a three-year Clinical Masters Degree (MSc) at Warwick University in Dental Implantology. This is an area he has been involved with theoretically and in practice for more than eight years, leaving him in a favourable position to provide a full range of implant treatments. Additionally, he is trained to use most of the major implant systems including Nobel Biocare, Ankylos, and Osstem systems.
