Dr. Sancho Wong

Dr Sancho Wong is a consultant physician in rehabilitation medicine at the Neurosciences Institute. He sees patients at Cleveland Clinic London Hospital and speaks English and Cantonese.

He has a particular interest in cognitive impairment, prolonged disorders of consciousness, spasticity, spinal cord injuries and stroke. His clinical work focuses on acute rehabilitation following brain injury, stroke and polytrauma, as well as wider neurological rehabilitation.

He studied medicine at St George’s University of London and completed his specialist training in rehabilitation medicine in Cambridge, Norwich and London. He has worked as a consultant at St George’s University Hospital since 2013 and was the clinical lead in neurorehabilitation at the Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Centre from 2016 to 2025.

Dr Wong has contributed to research in the field of rehabilitation medicine, working to ensure the most up-to-date care for his patients.

He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the European Board of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and a member of the British Medical Association and the Medical Protection Society.
