Dr Chaudhry took the time to listen to my medical history offer advice and suggestions to try and help improve my pain management going forward.

This is my 5th visit over the past few years. Dr Guru has provided pain relief for decades of pain. It has actually changed my life. A weight has been lifted. He is very professional. My first consultation was over an hour long. He looked deep into my medical history before offering treatment. Once he was happy he provided targeted injections. I highly recommend him.

Day Centre Waiting and Chronic Pain Clinic experiences 25th September 2026
The experience with Dr James was excellent.  Thank you.

However, there are several matters that concerned me on the day of the procedure at the day unit which could easily be rectified and make the experience less stressful. Please forward my comments to the correct department.

The entrance doors to the Day unit reception and those into the corridor to the patient waiting  rooms are so heavy to push unit open that myself (aged 80 with spinal problems), and several other patients found it difficult to get access, there were no offers of assistance except from members of the public who themselves were patients.
In the small ladies waiting room designed for 7 patients, all of us waiting up to 4 hours, at one point we had 9 ladies in the room as well as various medical staff coming to interview patients. These were not safe conditions for patients with compromised immune systems who need to avoid infections. One lady cancer patient was still there waiting at 3.45pm having arrived at 7.30am
There was no information as to when you would be called and this made it difficult for those of us who were not “nil by mouth” to get refreshments and food if you were lucky enough to have some had to be consumed alongside people who were “nil by mouth”.
In the two toilet cubicles I visited the washbasin tap drips constantly and waste water. Might be worth checking and changing some washers?
It could have been so much better.

Dr Rea is fantastic.  I’ve had a few injections with him now and he really takes the time to understand your symptoms even when it can be quite difficult to explain the problem, his experience gets you to the right place.

After trying a couple of different procedures, he found the one that has really worked for me and I’m so grateful.

He’s very funny which makes the whole experience more bearable.  His staff are all clearly very fond of him too which is a good indicator of a kind, caring man.
