Dr Robert Herd

I trained in medicine and dermtology in Edinburgh. During that time I completed an MD project in atopic dermatitis.

I also spent a year on sabbatical at Harvard Medical School in Boston, where I studied lasers and Mohs' micrographic Surgery, a technique for removing difficult facial skin cancers.

I was apointed consultant at the Western Infirmry in Glasgow where my main focus was on developing skin cancer services. I started Scotland's first Mohs' micrographic surgery service at the Western Infirmary and established the West of Scotland skin cancer managed clinical network.

My Private practice is ainly at Ross Hall Hospital where I see general dermatology problems as well as skin cance and minor surgical issues.
