About Dr Richard Gale
Dr Richard Gale qualified as a doctor in 1985. He trained in haematology from 1991 at The Royal Free Hospital and The Royal London and St Batholomew's Hospitals before becoming a consultant haematologist in 2000.
He was a consultant haematologist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and has over 30 years experience in the specialty.
He led the project for the development of a specialist haematology unit within the Kent oncology centre which opened in 2006.
He has now retired from the NHS but continues to work in the private sector.
