About Dr Ravi Ratnavel
Dr Ravi Ratnavel is a Consultant Dermatologist covering all aspects of General Dermatology which includes dermatological surgery, paediatric conditions, inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer. However, he has a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer and skin eruptions in both adults and paediatrics.
Dr Ratnavel qualified from the Universities of Oxford and London in 1985 / 1988. He then completed training in many teaching hospitals in London and Cambridge, before being appointed Consultant Dermatologist at Buckinghamshire and Oxford Churchill NHS Trusts. He currently works for the NHS and the private sector in London and the Thames Valley area.
He can perform cyst, mole, wart and skin cancer removal. He also has clinical interests in hair conditions, acne, psoriasis and skin allergic reactions.
